As a child in North Dakota, I drew all of the time. I earned my degree in art education at Moorhead State University,  then worked in sales, but supported my art by painting at night and on weekends. My art is shown in galleries in the Midwest.

Over the years I've worked on various licensing projects, and rug design is one of my favorites—pure design pleasure.

A friend once told me that it's important to appreciate the small, everyday things; and I gravitate toward the beauty in the ordinary.
